When you contact us or request a quote, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number if you choose to provide it, the town or area of your project, details of the work you are considering, and any photographs you send us. We may also keep a record of our correspondence with you.
If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or Facebook, those services will process your message in line with their own privacy terms. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through social media.
When you visit this website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type and basic request information in order to keep the website secure and working properly.
Why we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare a quote where requested, arrange or carry out work if you become a customer, and keep reasonable business records. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
We use enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries and running our business responsibly.
Who we share it with
We only share information where it is needed to run the business or provide the service—for example, with Cloudflare, which hosts the website and sends form enquiries to our approved inbox, or with a supplier or subcontractor where this is necessary for your project. We do not share your details for another organisation’s own marketing.
How long we keep it
We normally keep unsuccessful enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact. If you become a customer, we may keep relevant records for longer where needed for warranty, tax, accounting, legal or dispute-resolution purposes. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes, this notice and the website’s cookie controls will be updated before those cookies are used.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion in certain circumstances, or object to or restrict how we use your information. To make a request, email quotes@rimasbuildingservices.co.uk.
